Jace Nester shatters 1500hp in testing on the dyno!
Posted by Matt Hill on
Recently, Jace Nester was back in with his twin turbo, 427ci LS-powered Mustang for some testing on E98. Jace runs the Holley Dominator EFI. Not only did we easily crack the 1500hp mark, we also were able to determine from our datalogs that there was a need to upgrade his fuel pump with the E98 for fuel over a typical race fuel. Now that his pump has been upgraded, we'll see him back in the future for more testing! A video has been uploaded to YouTube for your viewing pleasure! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=53Ycqm0kFGI

Billet Oil Pump Gear Installation
Posted by Matt Hill on
The Achilles heel of the Ford Modular engine platform is undoubtedly the stock oil pump gear set. Made of powdered metal, harmonics from superchargers and unintended engine knock will shatter the stock pieces. This has caused countless engine failures. The remedy? We replace the stock gears with billet pieces from Triangle Speed Shop. These TSS gears are manufactured to exact tolerances and should be included in any build. A great time to upgrade the gears is during a cam swap, when the front cover has already been removed.
